This subject aimed to provide us knowledge about traditional art forms of Vietnam and Eastern countries ( silk painting and lacquer painting ). We had opporturnities to learn about the painting techniques and the character depicts of Vietnamese folk art. The original version of this painting was a woodcut altar painting of the Red Dzao - An ethnic group have settled in the Northwestern side of Vietnam since the 19th century. I transferred this painting onto the surface of the silk, learned how to use watercolor and rinsed the pigments out of the surface ( This process was called as silk dye )
